The humble planter is one of our favourite gardening elements, for three main reasons: they’re versatile, they’re attractive, and they’re incredibly practical.
Containers are versatile. If you live in a house without a garden, pots can give you access to the joys of gardening. A planter on a balcony, for example, or even a small one that functions as a window box. And if you do have a garden, the number of roles a planter can fulfil is almost endless. From raising your plants above the ground to keep them away from pests, to keeping rambunctious plants separated from the rest, and so on.
Planters are attractive, too. Even the most basic wooden pot looks distinct from the flower beds around it, and is a great way to add visual flair to your garden.
And finally, pots are practical. Vertical planters let you make use of wall space to extend your growing options. Trellis plant pots let you train climbing plants quickly and easily. And you can move a planter if the plants inside it aren’t thriving where they are.
We’re passionate about garden containers, as you can probably tell.
